Humberside police are investigating the theft of hundreds of pounds worth of diesel from a Brandesburton farm.
Overnight on Wednesday 14 August thieves entered the farm near the village and removed the fuel cap from a combine harvester before draining diesel from the tank.
A police spokeswoman said: “ They also approached a dryer tank and cut the chain and pipe before replacing the cap and making off in an unknown direction.”
Approximately 1500 litres of diesel fuel was removed at an estimated value of £680.
