A flag for the East Riding has been unveiled in a cermeony in Beverley.
The public symbol to represent God’s own County was chosen after a competition.
It is hoped the flag will:
* Raise recognition and awareness of the East Riding
* Express the pride in the local community
* Celebrate the cultural heritage of our corner of the country
